Service Provided to Cargo Barge MSRC/2011

Complete a Standard Major tune of to Services Generators and cargo pumps engines.
Barge MSRC.

Description
Done a complete standard Major tune of Engines Detroit Diesel 12V- 71: included change crankcase oil and filters, adjust the fuel racks, Checked the proper funtion of fuel system, renewed fuel filters and service air filters. Tested run engine after completation of service.
Done a complete standard Major tune of Engines Detroit Diesel 6-71: included change crankcase oil and filters, adjust the fuel racks, Checked the proper funtion of fuel system, renewed fuel filters and service air filters. Tested run engine after completation of service.
Done a complete standard Major tune of Engines Detroit Diesel 3-71: included change crankcase oil and filters, adjust the fuel racks, Checked the proper funtion of fuel system, renewed fuel filters and service air filters. Tested run engine after completation of service.
Supplied 4 Air filters, 2 lube oil filters and 4 fuel filters for the two Engines Detroit Diesel 6-71.
Supplied 2 Air filters, 2 lube oil filters and 4 fuel filters for the two Engines Detroit Diesel 3-71.
Supplied 2 Air filters, 4 lube oil filters and 4 fuel filters for the two Engines Detroit Diesel 12V-71.
Supplied 14 ventilator belts and 2 alternator belts for the two Engines Detroit Diesel 3-71, 6-71 and 12V -71.
Supplied 8 drums of lube oil SAE 40 of 5 galons each one for two Engines Detroit Diesel 3-71, 6-71 and 12V -71.
Generator # 4 (Detroit 6-71): Removed radiator ashore work shop for repair water leakage, supply coolant and refitted back to engine.

Overhaul Activities executed on Main Engine MAN B&W 7L58/64. M/V Asian Moon
Description

Taken Crankshaft Deflection: Main engine crankshaft deflections were taken while the vessel is afloat prior to dry-docking. A second set of deflections was taken at the end of the repair period with the vessel afloat. All readings were recorded and submitted to the attending Owner’s superintendent.
11.2. Main Engine Charge Air Cooler: Was done by: InServ
Were dismantled all pipes, top cover and replace and builts the respectives gaskets. Refitted back the cover and pipes to air cooler with new gaskets.
11.3. Main Engine Overhaul: Was done by: InServ. Supervised by: Owners Contractors. The Main Engine was overhauled due running hours basis under the supervision of Manufacturers representative. All spare parts were owners supplied.
a) Were removed rocker arm covers, rocker arms, cylinder cover and piston. Cylinder cover were cleaned and overhauled according to manufacturer’s instructions, including all valves being overhauled and seats being lapped in as required. Pistons were dismantled and cleaned. Cylinder liners were honed using ships honing machine. All measurements were record and presented to owner’s representative. On completion all parts were reassembled with new spare parts as required and refitted. All clearances were adjusted as per manufactures recommendations.
b) Were withdrawed, cleaned and refitted with new seal rings each cylinder liners. Included cleaning as required of water spaces.
c) Was removed, inspected and refitted of one set of connecting rod bearing shells (# 2). Based on condition of bearing shells these were renewed rather than refitted.
d) Cost for the removal, inspection and refitting of one set main bearing shells: Based on condition of bearing shells these may be renewed rather than refitted. Canceled!
f) Cost open up and inspect one set of camshaft bearing shells and refit or renew dependent upon condition. Were inspected the 7 camshaft pieces running surface these look in good conditions.
g) Main Engine Vibration damper renewed. The Main Engine Vibration damper was replaced due running hours basic under the supervision of Manufacturers representative. This job included, pipe removal, pumps, strays, covers and cutting supports.
The vessel is fitted with a MAN NA48 turbocharger which was overhauled.
Upon dismantling, the rotor assembly was removed ashore for ash blasting and dynamic balancing and balancing report submitted to owner’s representative prior to reinstallation with owners supplied spare parts.
Nozzle ring and Locking ring of MAN NA48 turbocharger were ash blasting cleaned at Turboshop.
Inspected Main Engine Gear box under the supervision of Manufacturers representative.

"• Was removed a piece of broken stud-bolt On ME cylinder No.4 one of eight stud-bolts for clumping cylinder cover.
• Was cleaned around block treaded.
• Was installed and tighten a new spare stud-bolt available onboard."

Description
Tested, calibrated and certificated a set of 21 Safety valves as follow:
1) 6 pcs- High Pressure Valves: Opening Pressure 18 Bar, Cargo Tank # 1,2,3. . 2) 6 pcs- Low Pressure Valves: Opening Pressure 7 Bar, Cargo Tank # 1,2,3. 3) 1 pc- Safety valve from cargo heater: opening pressure 20 Bar. 4) 2 pcs- Safety valves from dicharge's air compressors: opening pressure 20 Bar. 5) 3 pcs- Services valves of cargo (Manifold): opening pressure 20 Bar. 6) 1 pc Flash tank: opening pressure 20 Bar. 7) 2 pcs Air-Steam valves: Opening pressure 7 bar.

2.- Boiler SAACKE
2.1 Cleaned exhaust side of Heat recovery boiler.
2.2 Auxiliary Boiler furnace was cleaned.
Replaced Auxiliary Generator # 1, NDE Bearing.
Installed new line of electrical cable from Main Engine shaft alternator to control room panel.
