Provided three Technicians for Mechanical Assistances in ship bottom valves maintenance from may.26 to june 01-2011.
"8.08 Turbo Charger Air Cooler Cleaned:

The charge air cooler is of block type and located at the engines starboard side, below the turbo charger. The unit, which is welded up on steel plates, is of considerable weight see above. InServ disconnected the LT Fresh water inlet- and outlet lines and all associated piping, removed the cooler from the present location and transported the unit ashore for chemical cleaning of the airside and hydro test of the fresh waterside.
Upon completion of the cleaning process, the cooler was shown to the Owner's Representative for final inspection. InServ arranged for the charge air cooler to be transported back to the vessel and reinstalled, InServ Supplied new gaskets, seals and replacing some defective bolts and nuts. During the transportation, adequate measures was taken to protect the cooler fíns from any damage."
Charge air cooler additional Repair: during workshop charge air cooler maintenance were found three leaking tubes, all the tubes were tested one by one until found the bursted tubes, these were plugged with bronze plugs.
Auxiliary Boiler: Were Mechanically cleaned the Exhaust gas and water sides.
8.11 Main Engine Exhaust Gas Manifold: Replaced defective Isolating materials aprox. 12m2, Supplied isolating materials and installed.

Description
Main engine maker:WARTSILA power:4000 KW rpm:750 r/min.
M-101 M/E crankshaft deflection were measured before & after repair, Recorded in copies submitted to ship.
M-102 NO.3 and NO.9 main bearings were removed, were reinstalled the same bearings as per ship representative decision. Journals was inspected and cleaned, Bearings were Refitted in Presence of C/E and surveyor.

Cartridge Was removed , cleaned, examined, clearance and measured were taken, Nozzle and cover ring were ash blasting and mechanically cleaned, spares were supplied by ship. Turbocharger's Cartridge and compounds were refitted back."

Vertical economizer, type: EGH700V40,
designed pressure 1.0Mpa, access door were opened, Exh.gas side was mechanically and water-cleaned, T.O pipe was pressure tested up to 1.15 Mpa for survey, Gasket was renewed and refitted."

1 sets of T.O safety valve for economizer was removed and sent to valveshop, Cleaned and faced up, Open/ close pressure tested and readjusted to 1.0/0.8 Mpa for survey."
"M-203 TOH1150V50 , 1.0 Mpa,1.15 Mpa .
Vertical Aux.T.O boiler, 2 sets of boilers, type: TOH1150V50, designed pressure 1.0 Mpa.
No.1&No2 burner were pull out and the top covers were lift away , furnace were examined, The soot and carbon residue on the surface of the coils were removed away. Fire resistant material were inspected to see if there were any flakes. any damaged was found, fire sides were mechanically cleaned. T.O pipe were pressure tested up to 1.15 Mpa for survey. Gaskets Of burners seats were renewed when refitted."
M-204 1.0 Mpa,0.8 Mpa, 2 sets of T.O safety valves for Aux.T.O boiler were removed and sent to valveshop, Cleaned and faced up, open, close, pressure tested and readjusted to 1.0/0.8 Mpa for survey.

Scope:
1. Were Dismantled, cleaning and assembled the seven (7) Lube Oil seperators.
2. Were Dismantled, cleaning and assembled the Three (3) HFO Separators.
3. Were Dismantled and cleaning the seven (7) lube oil filter units of main engines. Still pending for install the new cartridges!
4. Were Dismantled and cleaning the seven (7) HFO filter units of main engines. Still pending for install the new cartridges!
5. Were Dismantled, cleaned and reassembled the fourteen (14) Glasier lube oil filters of main engines.

Complete a Standard Major tune of to Services Generators and cargo pumps engines.
Barge MSRC.
Description
Done a complete standard Major tune of Engines Detroit Diesel 12V- 71: included change crankcase oil and filters, adjust the fuel racks, Checked the proper funtion of fuel system, renewed fuel filters and service air filters. Tested run engine after completation of service.

Overhaul Activities executed on Main Engine MAN B&W 7L58/64. M/V Asian Moon
Description
Taken Crankshaft Deflection: Main engine crankshaft deflections were taken while the vessel is afloat prior to dry-docking. A second set of deflections was taken at the end of the repair period with the vessel afloat. All readings were recorded and submitted to the attending Owner’s superintendent.
11.2. Main Engine Charge Air Cooler: Was done by: InServ
Were dismantled all pipes, top cover and replace and builts the respectives gaskets. Refitted back the cover and pipes to air cooler with new gaskets.
11.3. Main Engine Overhaul: Was done by: InServ. Supervised by: Owners Contractors. The Main Engine was overhauled due running hours basis under the supervision of Manufacturers representative. All spare parts were owners supplied.
a) Were removed rocker arm covers, rocker arms, cylinder cover and piston. Cylinder cover were cleaned and overhauled according to manufacturer’s instructions, including all valves being overhauled and seats being lapped in as required. Pistons were dismantled and cleaned. Cylinder liners were honed using ships honing machine. All measurements were record and presented to owner’s representative. On completion all parts were reassembled with new spare parts as required and refitted. All clearances were adjusted as per manufactures recommendations.
b) Were withdrawed, cleaned and refitted with new seal rings each cylinder liners. Included cleaning as required of water spaces.
c) Was removed, inspected and refitted of one set of connecting rod bearing shells (# 2). Based on condition of bearing shells these were renewed rather than refitted.
d) Cost for the removal, inspection and refitting of one set main bearing shells: Based on condition of bearing shells these may be renewed rather than refitted. Canceled!
f) Cost open up and inspect one set of camshaft bearing shells and refit or renew dependent upon condition. Were inspected the 7 camshaft pieces running surface these look in good conditions.
g) Main Engine Vibration damper renewed. The Main Engine Vibration damper was replaced due running hours basic under the supervision of Manufacturers representative. This job included, pipe removal, pumps, strays, covers and cutting supports.
The vessel is fitted with a MAN NA48 turbocharger which was overhauled.
Upon dismantling, the rotor assembly was removed ashore for ash blasting and dynamic balancing and balancing report submitted to owner’s representative prior to reinstallation with owners supplied spare parts.
Nozzle ring and Locking ring of MAN NA48 turbocharger were ash blasting cleaned at Turboshop.
Inspected Main Engine Gear box under the supervision of Manufacturers representative.
