Description
16.01 (1) Crankshaft Deflection: Upon the vessel's arrival, prior to any changes in ballast condition and while the vessel is still afloat, crankshaft deflections were taken and recorded. Upon completion of all repairs, and with the vessel once again afloat and ballasted as original, a further set of deflections was taken and recorded. All readings taken were submitted to the Owner's Representative and the vessel's Chief Engineer.
18.02 Governors: Governor was overhauled, adjusted. SIZE/TYPE: Governor: Woodward Maker: Woodward Type: UG 8. SURVEY/ TEST: Visual inspection by Superintendent or nominated ship staff.
Transported to governor shop for bank tests and refitted back to ship.
Governor basic overhauled, dismantled and supplied of overhauling kit.
Replaced defective governor stop coil. Extraordinary repair.
16.06 MAIN ENGINE GOVERNOR:
Governor to be overhauled, adjusted.

Transported Navigation Echo Sounder F-200 to Maritima Dominicana Office.
Customs payment by transport out of shipyards parts for maintenance. (M.E and A.E Governors)

Description:

Visual inspection by Classification Surveyor and Superintendent and nominated vessel staff.
Pressure test to be carried out!"
18.02 Governors: Governor was overhauled, adjusted. SIZE/TYPE: Governor : Woodward Maker: Woodward Type: UG 8 . SURVEY/ TEST: Visual inspection by Superintendent or nominated ship staff.
Dismounting, transport to governorshop for bank tests and refitted back to engine.
Governor basic overhauled, dismantling and supplied of overhauling kit.
Replaced electical motor (Servomotor) and supplied servo motor.
"16.04 MAIN ENGINE CRANKPIN BEARINGS # 4 - OVERHAUL AND SURVEY: (1)STANDARD OVERHAUL
Opened up the Main Engine crankpin bearing for survey and inspected by the Classification Society Surveyor.
Suspended the connecting rod and turn free from the crankpin in order that the surveyor can carried out a full inspection.
Closed up after the inspection and recorded all clearances.
All readings were recorded and presented to the Owner's Representative Classification Society Surveyor and the vessel's Chief Engineer."
16.03 (1) CROSSHEAD PIN AND BEARING - OVERHAUL AND SURVEY: Open up crosshead bearing for survey and inspection by Classification Society Surveyor. After the inspection was complete, the bearings were closed up in good order. Clearances were taken and recorded. All clearances were recorded and presented to the Owner's Representative, Classification Society Surveyor and vessel's Chief Engineer.
Renewed a pair of Bearings of CROSSHEAD PIN # 4 : 16.03 (1): after pin inspection the condition of the crosshead pin bearings, were replaced a pair of bearing, due to had hard wear in the running surface. Were renewed the top halve bearing and lower bearing of Flywheel side.
16.01 (2) Bearings clearance:
Top end bearings # 4 (Crosshead and guides).
Crankpin bearings # 4.
"17.01 Aux Boiler
Makers : AB Svenska Maskinverken Workshop Jarfalla, Sweden
Type: Sunrod Oil fired CPDB-20
Working Pressure: 7 bars
Design pressure: 8 bars"
"Fireside:
Opened up the furnace by removing the burner unit. Swept cleaned the furnace area and removed all debris. Burner unit was refitted in order using new InServ supply asbestos type joints. Fire side of tubes to be mechanically cleaned.
The furnace was presented to the Classification Society Surveyor and Owner’s Representative for inspection and survey prior to closing."
"Steam/Water side:
The boiler was completelly drained and opened up to allow inspection of water parts. All internal spaces include tubes are to be thoroughly cleaned by scraper and brush. "
"The following valves were removed from the boiler and transported to ship workshops for Overhaul: Valves were disassembled, cleaned and re-seated and presented to the Classification Surveyor and Owners Representative for inspection.
Valveswere reassembled in good order with new packings and joints supplied by InServ. All bolts were lubricated with ‘COPASLIP’ or similar high temperature anti-seizing compound.
The safety valves were dismounted and mounted. (Ciramar Carried out Hydraulic opening tests)
Removal of easing gear and extended spindles etc. for access were carried out by ships staff.
No valve were closed until the vessel’s Chief Engineer and/or Owner’s Representative have sighted and approved it.
Owner’s Representative to be advised of and agree to any major repairs found necessary to any valve prior to such repairs being carried out. Such advice of repairs is to be accompanied by a binding quotation for the works required (It Belong to Ciramar, who made machining in some valves)."

M/T Kingston.-

Diesel Generator: Maker/Type: MWM/TBD 604L6-(3) sets (570 BHP at 1500 RPM, 400 Kw, T/C KKK K42.
General overhauling of D/Gs No. 3 (spares owner's supplied) included:
a) Open-up cylinder heads and withdraw pistons. Cleaning and calibrate cylinder liners and check mating surface between liner and head. Cleaning and calibrate piston rings/grooves, piston rod and renew piston rings, re-assemble in good order.
b) In addition to a) withdraw and refit cylinder liner including cleaning of jacket and renewal of sealing rings
c) Crankpin bearings: Open-up for survey. Clean, inspect, take/report clearances and close in good order.
d) Main Bearings: Open-up for survey. Clean, inspect, take/report clearances and close in good order.
e) Inspected fuel pump from position.
f) Remove following valves and transport ashore to workshop. At workshop dismantle/chemical clean and check all parts. Re-assemble the valves.
f-a) Exhaust Valve.
f-b) Inlet Valve.
f-c) Fuel Valve.
f-d) Starting Valve.
f-e) Safety Valve.

Mechanized the six (6) cylinder heads of Diesel generator # 2.
Were dismantled, installed and repaired the cooling water and main lube oil pump of auxiliary generator # 1.
