Auxiliary Boiler Valves Overhaul.-

Description
Auxiliary Boiler Valves Overhaul: The following valves were Dismounted and Dismantled for overhaul, cleaned, lapped, gasket and gland packing changed, refitted back to boiler and pressure tested.
Main Steam stop valve: 10K-150 straight globe valve.
Circulating water pump 's inlet valve: 10K-65 straight globe valve
Circulating water pump 's outlet valve: 10K-65 straight globe valve.
Feed water Inlet valve: 10K-50 Straight globe valve
Bottom blow down valve: 16K-40 Straight globe valve
Overhauled of Main Steam Stop Valves: Deck main steam line valve (In HPPE) was Dismounted and Dismantled for overhaul, cleaned, lapped, gasket and gland packing changed, refitted back to boiler and pressure test. Spec. size-10K-150A Straight globe.

2.1 Cleaned exhaust side of Heat recovery boiler.
2.2 Auxiliary Boiler furnace was cleaned.
Replaced Auxiliary Generator # 1, NDE Bearing.
Installed new line of electrical cable from Main Engine shaft alternator to control room panel.

Description
16.01 (1) Upon completion of all repairs and with the vessel once again afloat and ballasted as original, a set of deflections was taken and recorded (After docking). All readings taken were submitted to the Owner's Representative and the vessel's Chief Engineer.
16.06 MAIN ENGINE GOVERNOR:
Governor was overhauled, adjusted and refitted back to engine.

Governor drive shaft speed 250-1375 RPM ;Control air: 10-64 PSI
SURVEY/ TEST:
Visual inspection by Superintendent or Chief Engineer.
Running test.
Inspected governor in place. Dismounted, transported to governor shop for bank tests and refitted back to engine.
Governor basic overhauled, dismantling and supplied of overhauling kit.
Extraordinary repair was done in Governor: were replaced the Oil gear pump and valve casing, pilot valves, oil gear pump, the speeder spring, governor shutdown valve and oil pump driving shaft. All these because the governor didn’t reach the normal oil pressure and respective speed range.
17.01 Auxiliary Boiler: The following valves were removed from the boiler and transported to workshop for Overhaul: Valves were disassembled, cleaned and re-seated and presented to the Classification Surveyor and Owners Representative for inspection.
Valves were reassembled in good order with new packing and joints supplied by InServ. All bolts were lubricated with ‘COPASLIP’ or similar high temperature anti-seizing compound.
The safety valves were done complete overhaul and calibration. Dismounted and refitted back to boiler.
